Vision
“They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted.” Isaiah 62:12

Too many people are leaving.
|
Pittsburgh, the once industrial hub of the world, now is struggling to keep its population from leaving. Known as “steel town”, Pittsburgh is more and more becoming “steal away town” as the best and brightest are leaving for other thriving cities. But even with all of this, there is hope. God promises in His Word that the Holy City would no longer be deserted but one sought after.
|
This is the same vision that we have for Pittsburgh. Even though our world may not desire Pittsburgh, God does, and wants to do a mighty work among us. So as we are primarily focused on the homeless, we know that the end result of what we do is to bring glory to God and to bring Pittsburgh closer to that point where it is a holy city.

Our vision is that by satisfying the needs of the oppressed, Christ’s light will rise in the darkness and Pittsburgh will once again be a holy city
