Get Involved
At The L.I.V.I.N.G. Ministry, we are always looking for ways to get others involved so that they can share the joy that we feel each and every day. Serving God through homeless ministry is such a blessing, and every Christian who partners with us gets to experience that.
|
One thing that we often preach is that this is our ministry. This is not just something that Mike, Mike, Charles and Zach do in their spare time. This ministry belongs to God and He has chosen to give the responsibility of it to His people, the church. So you need to know that if you are reading this, you have a responsibility to help in whatever way you are suppose to.

One of the first things we did as a ministry starting up was send out a weekly email updating everyone we knew about the progress of the ministry and asking for their prayers. Why did we do that? Because we wanted to make sure everyone knew what God was doing, and how they could and were needed to be a part of that.

Maybe you are thinking that you don’t really have time for this. Or maybe you don’t feel ‘called’ to work with the homeless. But let me encourage you guys with this…

Now we say all this not to puff you up to think that somehow you have the power within yourself to affect all this change. Frankly, you don’t. Neither do we. But with the power of the Holy Spirit in us, all things are possible!
