Jen’s Received Her New Visa!!
After waiting patiently for 9 months, Jen received approval of her new R-1 visa! She can now drive, stay in the United States, and ‘officially’ work for the ministry. Below you can read her excitement about this great news.
Thank you for your prayers and support over the past few months. The process of waiting for the R-1 visa has been a great lesson for me, and I believe God is training me to be something better. The past 9 months have been one of the best times I ever had. I want to give the biggest thanks to God for His love and guidance. I hope I will grab this opportunity to be a faithful servant and be a good vessel for Him, so I will not waste this blessing He has given me. At the same time, I want to thank all of you for the support, whether offering a word of encouragment, driving me around, or praying for me. Without you, I don’t think I could have made it. I am grateful to have good friends standing behind me in prayer. Again, thank you and let’s walk together to serve the needy and homeless in His name.

2011 Benefit Banquet
L.I.V.I.N.G. Ministry is hosting its 2nd annual Benefit Banquet to raise awareness about the ministry as well as honor some of our local supporters.
The purpose of this benefit dinner is to raise awareness of LIVING Ministry. We will do this by honoring people that have worked diligently as volunteers, by highlighting the work God has done in the life of one person that we have served, and by recognizing a donor who has been impacted by supporting the ministry financially. We will also raise awareness of the ministry thru media that depicts the stereotypes people have about the homeless, and having table discussions on homelessness and the history of the ministry.
It is our desire to glorify God at this event by highlighting all that He has done in the past 9 years of ministry. It is His ministry, and we want people to be aware of it, and find ways they can join in it.
