Hi I’m Mike Ichimura. I’m so excited about our ministry and what God has done with it in such a short time. I can’t say enough about the grace of Christ and his abundant mercies, which he has bestowed, on me. In my heart I am looking forward most to the miracles God has for the boys and myself. I wish I could explain it. God has this way of amazing me in so many ways. It’s like every day He has a gift for us and He’s just so eager for us to unwrap it. Some times I just sit back and think, “I am sooooooo grateful for your salvation and the life abundant.” Everyday I want to continue waking up desperate for Christ and his new mercies. There is nothing in the world like the look on a homeless guy’s face when they understand that our Lord has a plan for their life, or when they allow the us to pray for them, or when they trust us with their intimate struggles with addiction, or when you can read to them a verse that gives them hope, or when they get a job, or when we’re allowed into their world as peers, or when we can just tell them that Jesus loves them. In the bible God asks us to look after the poor, and I cannot be more honored than to know that he has chosen this calling for me.
