Too many homeless die every year. Because Pittsburgh is a very cold city, every year we end up losing a handful of our brother and sisters due to the weather. On Monday, December 21st, there was a candlelight vigil to pay respects to the homeless who lost their lives in 2009. Among the deceased were people that we ministered to at the labor halls, ALIVE, or in one of the shelters. Please keep in prayer the families and friends of those who lost their lives, and pray for those who …
Torran has been a part of Project L.I.F.E. for 1 week. He committed his life to Christ in February of this year, and has spent the past 10 months clean and sober. He is excited to be a part of this program, and desires to get his GED, a job, and be back in a position to take care of his son.

Patrick wasn’t homeless when he came into the program. He had his own apartment and was seemingly well. But he could tell you that things weren’t well. He was really despressed, extremely sick, and felt lonely everyday. He joined the program because he wanted to put God first above all other things, and to be a part of a family of belivers.
Since being in the program, Patrick has been blessed with being able to communicate with his family and get much closer to God. Pray for his continued health, …

Darin has been homeless for about 10 years, and in that time, he has not be able to pursue God on a day to day basis. Being a part of Project L.I.F.E. has given him that opportunity and has allowed him to grow.
But Darin is still a long way from home. Please pray for the painful …
“[Love for Enemies] "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”
