What To Expect At ALIVE 2008
Friends, can you believe that ALIVE 2008 is only a week and a half away? I know that many of you have signed up for that day, and we are really excited about you joining us in this great day!

Below you find more specific details as to what you can expect from this day.

That was our second ever ALIVE in 2004!! We have come a long way from then, with more volunteers, better food, nicer clothes, more people attending, better music and much more!!
|
Just so you know, ALIVE 2008 will be one of the best times that you will ever have this year!! You will be amazed to see all that God will do through that day and through you, just because you are making yourself available to be used by Him!
|
What should you expect at ALIVE 2008? Expect to have your socks knocked off! Expect to hear great stories! Expect to eat great food! Expect to be confronted with the Spirit of God. Expect to serve about 350 people. Expect great weather (But it will be cold). Expect God to receive the glory from all that is done. Expect to see miracles. Expect to see your life changed

What the day will look like for volunteers:
|
Arrive atAllegheny Center Alliance Church at 8:45am for light breakfast and orientation
8:45am – 9:15am Orientation in Simpson Hall of Allegheny Center Alliance Church (there you will be split into the stations of your choice)
|
9:15am – 10:00am Setting up of stage, chairs, and tables
10:00am The event will begin!
10:00am – 10:05am We will pray, welcome everyone, and explain the day to everyone
10:10am We have a testimony by Daryl Carr
10:20am We will have a devotional by Zach McCoy
10:30am – 11:15am We will have worship with the Greg Sparks band
11:15am – 12:15pm We will start the stations (to be explained later)
12:15pm-12:25pm The stations will stop, and we will have another testimony
12:25pm – 1pm We will have a message by Charlie Brownawell
1pm Lunch starts with clothes distribution resuming
1:30pm The stations resume with the Greg Voss Band
2:30pm We start wrapping up and cleaning up

The stations that we have this year are almost exactly the same as last year. As a volunteer, you will be able to choose from being a part of the following teams:
Clothes Distribution
Prayer and Fellowship
Board Games
Trivia
Social Services
Food
Arts and Crafts
If you are interested in a detailed description of any of these stations, please feel free to contact us. More details regarding roles and responsibilites will be provided for those who sign up to volunteer.
